To strike a balance between social and corporate value
Alpine considers CSR activities the very activities that embody our corporate principles. Our corporate principles, which are the unchanging values that will ensure our perpetuity, and our corporate vision, which is the ideal to which we strive in order to achieve those principles, are shared by all employees to work daily toward CSR.
While remaining aware of Creating Shared Value (CSV), the ideal that strikes a balance between Alpine’s corporate value and our value to society, Alpine has promoted our CSR activities based on themes such as resolution of social issues, environmental awareness, and collaboration with communities. In addition, in order to meet the changes of the social environment and the expectations of our stakeholders, we have identified materiality and reflected it in our medium-term plan, and are implementing a PDCA cycle for steady progress in our CSR activities.
In order to carry out CSR activities while taking a global perspective, we at Alpine follow our own unique set of guidelines, which we have established based on the ISO 26000 social responsibility standards. Furthermore, we actively strive to support worldwide efforts toward the realization of a sustainable society, including the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Alpine believes that employees coming together to promote CSR throughout the entire value chain will serve as the foundation for fulfilling our corporate social responsibility and ensuring growth in the medium to long term. We will continue to work on taking our CSR activities, which embody our principles, to the next level.
